Second Day of Mamata Banerjee’s campaign in Purulia
Trinamool Congress Chairperson Mamata Banerjee visited the towns of Jaipur, Kashipur and Manbazar in Purulia district today to address campaign rallies for the 2016 Assembly election.
In her speeches, Mamata Banerjee said that before 2011, people in the Jangalmahal region lived in fear. Now there is complete peace and tranquility, for which she thanked the people of the region too, saying that it was because of their cooperation and resilience that peace has returned. She highlighted the Khadya Sathi Scheme under which 8 crore people in West Bengal are getting food grains at Rs 2 per kg.
She also slammed the CPI(M) and Congress for giving up their ideologies to form an alliance.
আজ পুরুলিয়ায় তৃণমূল নেত্রীর প্রচারের দ্বিতীয় দিন
গতকালের পর আজ আবার পুরুলিয়া শহরে নির্বাচনী প্রচার করলেন তৃণমূল নেত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। আজ জয়পুর, কাশিপুর এবং মানবাজারে প্রচার করলেন তৃণমূল নেত্রী।
তার বক্তব্যে তৃণমূল নেত্রী বলেন যে ২০১১ সালের আগে জঙ্গলমহলের মানুষ সবসময় ভীত ও সন্ত্রস্ত থাকত। এখন সেখানে সর্বত্র শান্তি বিরাজ করছে। তিনি বলেন আজ জঙ্গলমহলে শান্তি ফিরে এসেছে এবং এটা সম্ভব হয়েছে সেখানকার মানুষের আশীর্বাদ ও সহযোগিতায়। এজন্য তিনি জঙ্গলমহল বাসীকে ধন্যবাদ জানান। তিনি বলেন, আজ রাজ্যের মানুষ খাদ্য সুরক্ষা কর্মসূচীর আওতায় এসেছে। পশ্চিমবঙ্গের ৮ কোটি মানুষ আজ ‘খাদ্য সাথী’ প্রকল্পের আওতায় ২ টাকা কেজি দরে খাদ্যশস্য পাচ্ছেন।
নিজেদের নীতি ও আদর্শ ত্যাগ করে জোট বাঁধার জন্য সিপিএম ও কংগ্রেসের কড়া সমালোচনাও করেন তিনি।
