Preserving the legacy of Netaji – Bengal shows the way
Today is the 119th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. West Bengal Chief Minister Ms Mamata Banerjee has always been a great believer in the teachings of the great leader, and has imbibed them in her daily life and activities.
West Bengal is the first and so far the only State to release all classified files on Netaji for public access. The Chief Minister had released all the 64 classified files (which were in the possession of the Kolkata police and the West Bengal police) on September 18, 2015. The files are being kept at the Kolkata Police Museum on APC Road.
Not only that, Mamata Banerjee has been exhorting the Centre and many foreign countries as well to release all secret files related to Netaji.
On January 15, the Chief Minister had inaugurated a plaque, commemorating the 75th anniversary of the ‘Great Escape,’ as the great leader’s escape in 1941 from house arrest (in Netaji Bhawan) is called, and a statue of Netaji at Netaji Bhawan.
Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose continues to inspire all of us.
পশ্চিমবঙ্গ সরকার নেতাজির আদর্শ উজ্জীবিত করে চলেছে
আজ নেতাজি সুভাষ চন্দ্র বসুর ১১৯ তম জন্ম বার্ষিকী। পশ্চিমবঙ্গের মাননীয়া মুখ্যমন্ত্রী শ্রীমতী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় সর্বদাই নেতাজির মহান আদর্শে বিশ্বাসী এবং তিনি এই আদর্শকে তার দৈনন্দিন জীবনে আত্মস্থ করেছেন।
পশ্চিমবঙ্গই প্রথম নেতাজি ফাইল প্রকাশ করেছে। মাননীয়া মুখ্যমন্ত্রী ২০১৫ সালের ১৫ই সেপ্টেম্বর নেতাজি সংক্রান্ত ৬৪টি ফাইল প্রকাশ করেন। আচার্য প্রফুল্ল চন্দ্র রোডে কলকাতা পুলিশ মিউজিয়ামে ফাইল গুলি রাখা আছে।
নেতাজি ফাইল প্রকাশ নিয়ে মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের সঙ্গে কেন্দ্র এবং অন্যান্য দেশের ও কথা হয়েছে।
১৫ই জানুয়ারি মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় নেতাজি সুভাষচন্দ্রের মহানিষ্ক্রমণের ৭৫তম বর্ষপূর্তি উপলক্ষে তার বাসভবন নেতাজি ভবনে একটি ফলক উদ্বোধন করেন যেখান থেকে ১৯৪১ সালে তিনি অন্তর্ধান করেছিলেন।
নেতাজি সুভাষ চন্দ্র বসু সবসময় আমাদের অনুপ্রাণিত করেন।
