Bengal Bypoll: Mamata Banerjee’s reaction on TMC’s huge victory
Trinamool Chairperson Ms Mamata Banerjee took to the social media site Twitter to express her reactions after the huge victory for the party in by-elections held for the Bongaon Lok Sabha Constituency and Krishnaganj Assembly Constituency.

Highlights of her press conference at Purulia:
• Congratulations to the people. I salute them. This is a miracle result.
• People magic in Bengal.
• Others talk about 33% reservation for women in Parliament. Out of 34 TMC MPs in LS, we have 35.2% women MPs.
• Our vote has increased. In May, we had won by a margin of 1,47,000 votes. As of now our margin is 1,72,000 votes.
• Section of the media launched a smear campaign against us. Despite the propaganda, people have spoken.
• One has to work in the grassroots for people, instead of just big talk on TV studios.
• Trinamool Congress is intact and strong party. We are together. We are a united family… They have bowled all the controversies out.
