Mamata Banerjee pens poems on successive days to protest against attack on democracy
Bangla Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee penned two poems in two successive days to mark her protest on the recent events. Time and again, she had pointed out that the democracy in the country is under threat.
She had penned her thoughts on the subject through poems. In the inauguration of the 2012 Kolkata International Book fair, she said that poems were the mirror of life and she writes poems to portray the sands of time.
On Thursday she shared the poem ‘Thikana’ and the next day she posted another poem ‘Ek Din’ on social media platforms.
