Gadiara getting decked to attract more tourists
Gadiara in Howrah district is getting a complete makeover to increase its attraction as a tourist spot. It is a popular picnic spot, and now work has started to draw more tourists.
The renovation of the bus stand is almost over. The bank of the river along the route from the bus stand to the Tourist Department lodge is being bordered with concrete and the route alongside being lighted up. the road is being widened to 16 feet.
Later, boating facilities would be introduced in the river. A marketing complex is also being planned. The work will be completed within three years.
