Employment generation on the rise in Bangla
A report published in August by the Union Labour Ministry, based on Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) data, paints a very encouraging picture of the state of employment in Bangla.
The State is among the top ten in the country, considering data from September 2017 to July 2018.
According to EPFO payroll data of the 11 months, the number of employed in all the five age groups in July 2018 has seen a rise with respect to September 2017.
· 18 to 21 years: 3,902 to 6,796
· 22 to 25 years: 3,859 to 8,745
· 26 to 28 years: 1,500 to 4,814
· 29 to 35 years: 1,533 to 6,872
· 35 and above: 6,964 till July 2018
