Development is our main agenda for 2016 polls: Abhishek Banerjee in South 24 Parganas
Trinamool Youth Congress President Abhishek Banerjee said that even nor’westers will not be able to have any adverse effect on Trinamool Government. The young MP was addressing election campaign rallies at Falta and Sonarpur in South 24 Parganas.
Abhishek said that while the agenda for the 2011 elections had been ‘parivartan’, in 2016 the agenda is ‘development’ that the the Trinamool Government brought in the past four and half years.
He pointed out that since May 2011, the Trinammol Government has constructed more than 8000 kms of road and increased allotments in the area of the development of the Sundarbans and the development of the minorities communities.

তৃণমূল যুব কংগ্রেসের সভাপতি অভিষেক বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় বলেছেন যে কালবৈশাখীরও কোনো প্রভাব পড়বে না তৃণমূল সরকারের উপর। গতকাল দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগনার ফলতা ও সোনারপুরে নির্বাচনী জনসভা করেন তিনি।
অভিষেক বলেন যে ২০১১ সালের নির্বাচনে যেখানে মূলমন্ত্র ছিল ‘পরিবর্তন’, ২০১৬ সালের নির্বাচনে প্রধান আলোচ্য বিষয় হল গত সাড়ে চার বছরে তৃণমূল সরকারের দ্বারা বাংলার ‘উন্নয়ন’।
তিনি উল্লেখ করেন যে, ২০১১ সালের মে মাস থেকে তৃণমূল সরকার ৮,০০০ কি.মি. দৈর্ঘ্যেরও বেশি রাস্তা তৈরী করে দিয়েছে এবং সুন্দরবন উন্নয়ন ও সংখ্যালঘু সম্প্রদায় উন্নয়নের জন্য বরাদ্দ টাকার অঙ্কও দিয়েছে বাড়িয়ে।
