CM speaks on transparency and opportunities in Bengal at conference with industrialists

Kolkata, June 18:  The Trinamool-led government headed by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had its first formal meet with industrialists all over India, today at 4 pm at Alipore.

Minister of Industries, Partha Chatterjee and Finance Minister Amit Mitra are Members of the Parliament accompanied the Chief Minister in this Business Meet.

The industrialists had varied queries and Ms. Banerjee answered them all. She insisted on PPP model in Health and Food sector. Ms. Banerjee also stressed on connectivity of the proposed industrial and tourist hubs like Durgapur, Maldah, Shantiniketan, Sundarban and Digha through roads as well as air. 

Ms. Banerjee also announced that a business team from Bengal has been invited to USA and Japan. She asked the business community to get in touch directly with the Minister of Industry and Commerce.
