Classes for youths interested in joining the police force, courtesy WB Police
The West Bengal Police (WBP) is taking a unique initiative to support youths from the districts by organising special tuition classes for them to help get recruited in the police service.
The WBP has started this initiative in the district of Uttar Dinajpur. This is the first time ever that such an initiative has been taken up by the WBP. This initiative is part of its community policing activities in the district.
According to senior police officers, it will help a large section of people in the district, as job aspirants from almost all families can opt for the opportunity to get trained for police recruitment examination. This will help many also because many youths cannot afford training in private institutions.
It may be mentioned that in the past seven years, the police have undertaken various community development programmes across the State that are helping people from all walks of life.
