Bengal CM to meet industrialists in Mumbai, on leading chamber of commerce’s request
Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, along with the Finance and Industry Minister and senior officials of the State Government, is going to Mumbai today to meet top industrialists, on the invitation of a well-known chamber of commerce.
The Chief Minister would hold discussions regarding investment in various sectors in Bengal. At the same time, she would also extend invitations to the industrialists to attend the next Bengal Global Business Summit, to be held on January 16 and 17.
Previously, the Industry Minister, Dr Amit Mitra had held discussions with jewellery and leather business owners to invite them to invest in Bengal, and those discussions have already started yielding results.
Over the last few years, under the active leadership of Mamata Banerjee, the investment climate in Bengal is improving gradually.
বণিকসভার আমন্ত্রণে সাড়া দিয়ে মুম্বইয়ে শিল্পপতিদের সঙ্গে বৈঠকে বসবেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী
একটি বণিকসভার আমন্ত্রণে মুম্বই যাচ্ছেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। সাথে যাবেন রাজ্যের অর্থ ও শিল্পমন্ত্রী অমিত মিত্র, রাজ্যের মুখ্যসচিব সহ অফিসারদের একটি টিম। সেখানে তিনি বণিকসভার সঙ্গে বৈঠক করবেন।
বণিকসভার বৈঠক ছাড়াও পশ্চিমবঙ্গে বিনিয়োগ করার আহ্বান জানিয়ে সেখানকার শিল্পপতিদের সঙ্গে আলোচনায় বসবেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী। সেইসঙ্গে আগামী ১৬-১৭ জানুয়ারি বেঙ্গল গ্লোবাল বিজনেস সামিটে আসার জন্য তাঁদের আমন্ত্রণ জানাবেন তিনি। এর আগে অর্থ ও শিল্পমন্ত্রী অমিত মিত্র মুম্বইয়ে গিয়ে বিভিন্ন শিল্পপতির সঙ্গে বৈঠক করেন।
মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর এই বৈঠকে পাওয়ার পয়েন্ট প্রেজেন্টেশনের মাধ্যমে পশ্চিমবঙ্গে বিনিয়োগের ক্ষেত্রে সুবিধার দিকগুলি তুলে ধরা হবে। এখানে জমির ক্ষেত্রে কোনও সমস্যা নেই। রাজ্য সরকারের ল্যান্ড ব্যাঙ্ক থেকে জমি নিতে পারবে শিল্পসংস্থাগুলি। রাজ্যে কর্মসংস্কৃতি ফিরে এসেছে। শ্রমিকদের কোনও সমস্যা নেই। নেই কোনও শ্রমিক অসন্তোষ। রাজনৈতিক স্থিতাবস্থাও রয়েছে। ফলে স্বাভাবিকভাবেই বিনিয়োগের জন্য আদর্শ জায়গা হল পশ্চিমবঙ্গ।
রাজ্যের শিল্পবান্ধব চেহারা তুলে ধরতেই মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের এবারের মুম্বই সফর।
