Bengal CM inaugurates Alipurduar district headquarter ‘Dooars Kanya’
Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today inaugurated the headquarter of Alipurduar district ‘Dooars Kanya’. The administrative building houses 40 departments at one place. Alipurduar was carved out of Jalpaiguri as a separate district in 2014.
Highlights of the Chief Minister’s speech:
We have given land pattas to 1000 farmers today.
We have done away with khajna tax on agricultural land.
We pay the premium for crop insurance, farmers don’t have to pay a penny.
We have given Rs 1200 crore worth compensation to 30 lakh farmers’ families affected by floods.
A new Asian highway connecting India, Bhutan, Nepal and Bangladesh is coming up. This will boost the economy of north Bengal.
A new road connecting south and north Bengal is being constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 3500 crore.
We have created a fund of Rs 100 crore for the welfare of tea garden workers. They receive 35 kg rice per month at 47 p/kg. We have set up a new Tea Directorate.
Before elections, BJP had promised they will takeover 7 tea gardens. They have not yet fulfilled their promises.
BJP and RSS are running NGOs which are brainwashing people in the name of spreading education.
From demonetisation to hasty implementation of GST, the BJP has destroyed the economy of the country.
They have stopped giving funds for the State. Still, we are continuing with our social schemes like Kanyashree, Siksha Shree, Khadya Sathi etc.
From Maharashtra to Gujarat, atrocities against Adivasis are on the rise. Our workers are being killed in other States. We have given compensation and government job to the family of the Bengali worker who was killed in Gujarat.
Religion is a personal matter of faith. No one has a right to interfere.
We are also Hindus. But we do not support the brand of Hindutva followed by BJP.
They are distributing books with slanderous content about religious figures to incite riots. We have filed FIR against them. Do not believe them.
Bengali-speaking people in Assam are being targeted. Names of 1.3 crore names (out of 3 crore) are missing for their citizens’ register.
Everyone is free to live in any State – Bengalis live in other States, people of other States like Gujarat, Bihar live and work in Bengal.
How many more riots will the BJP incite? How much more bloodshed do they want? People will defeat all conspiracies.
We give soft loans worth Rs 10 lakh to students to pursue higher education in India (and Rs 20 lakh for studying abroad).
Kanyashree has now become the best in the world. We are proud of our Kanyashree girls.
We have created employment for 81 crore people in six years. Whereas, people lost jobs in rest of the country because of GST and demonetisation.
Defeat the divisive politics of BJP. Defeat communalism. Defeat their conspiracies.
The Centre stopped the funds for ICDS and ASHA workers. We have increased the honorarium paid to them. The projects are running because of State funds.
We have asked cooperative banks to give more loans to SHGs and Kisan Credit Cards.
We are giving 30% subsidy in loans to SHGs, and reduced the rate of interest from 4% to 2%.
We will launch the construction of 7500 km of roads at once from Nadia on February 2.
We have set up Rajbongshi and Kamtapuri Academy. We will form an academy for Kurukh language.
ডুয়ার্সকন্যার উদ্বোধন করলেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী
আজ আলিপুরদুয়ার জেলার প্রশাসনিক সদর দপ্তর ‘ডুয়ার্সকন্যা’র উদ্বোধন করলেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। ২০১৪ সালের জুন মাসে পৃথক জেলা হিসেবে আত্মপ্রকাশ করে আলিপুরদুয়ার। ডুয়ার্সকন্যা একটি অত্যাধুনিক কালেক্টরেট বিল্ডিং; জেলার ৪০টি দপ্তর থাকবে এখানে।
প্রসঙ্গত, উত্তরবঙ্গের মানুষের দীর্ঘদিনের দাবীকে মান্যতা দিয়ে উত্তরবঙ্গে মিনি সচিবালয় তৈরী করা হয়, যার নাম মুখ্যমন্ত্রী দিয়েছিলেন ‘উত্তরকন্যা’।
মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর বক্তব্যের কিছু অংশ:
- আজ ১০০০জন কে জমির পাট্টা দেওয়া হল।
- কৃষিজমির খাজনা মুকুব করে দেওয়া হয়েছে।
- জমির শস্য বীমা করা হয়েছে, তার প্রিমিয়ামও সরকার দিচ্ছে।
- বন্যায় ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত ৩০ লক্ষ কৃষি পরিবারকে ১২০০ কোটি টাকা ক্ষতিপূরণ দেওয়া হচ্ছে।
- ইন্ডিয়া, বাংলাদেশ, ভূটান ও নেপাল কানেক্ট করে বড় রাস্তা (এশিয়ান হাইওয়ে) তৈরী হচ্ছে। এতে যোগাযোগ, সড়ক ব্যবস্থা ও ব্যবসা বাণিজ্য সব ভাল হবে।
- উত্তর ও দক্ষিণ বঙ্গকে জুড়তে একটা রাস্তা তৈরী করা হচ্ছে; ৩৫০০ কোটি টাকা খরচ হচ্ছে।
- চা শ্রমিকদের উন্নয়নের জন্য ১০০ কোটি টাকার ফান্ড তৈরী করা হয়েছে। শ্রমিকরা প্রতি মাসে ৩৫ কেজি চাল পান মাত্র ৪৭ পয়সা কেজি দরে। রুগ্ন, বন্ধ চা বাগান ও চা শ্রমিকদের জন্য নতুন করে চা ডিরেক্টরেট তৈরী করা হয়েছে।
- নির্বাচনের আগে বিজেপি এসে বলেছিল, ৭টা চা বাগান অধিগ্রহন করবেন আজ পর্যন্ত ১টাও করেনি।
- বিজেপি আরএসএস এক সংগঠন করেছে, পড়াশোনা শেখানোর নাম করে লোকদের উস্কানি দিচ্ছে।
- বিজেপি নোটবন্দী করেছে, জিএসটি করেছে, ভারতের অর্থনীতি ভেঙ্গে দিয়েছে।
- এক বছর ধরে কোনও কাজ হচ্ছে না ইনকামের। আমি তো বলতে পারি না লোককে চাল, কন্যাশ্রী, শিক্ষাশ্রী দেব না।
- গুজরাট, মহারাষ্ট্রে দলিত, আদিবাসীদের ওপর কে অত্যাচার করছে? এখান থেকে একজন গুজরাটে কাজ করতে গেছিল, খুন হয়েছে। তার পরিবারকে আমরা আজ ২.৫ লক্ষ টাকা দিলাম, তাদের একটা চাকরিরও ব্যবস্থা করে দেওয়া হয়েছে।
- আপনি কোন ঠাকুর পুজো করবেন, সেটা আপনার ব্যপার।
- হিন্দু ধর্ম অনেক বড়। আমরাও হিন্দু ধর্মের লোক। আমরা বিজেপির মত রাবন পুজো করি না।
- ক্লাস ২ এর একটা বইয়ে ধর্মীয় গুরুদের নামে উল্টোপাল্টা লিখছে। আমরা ওদের বিরুদ্ধে এফআইআর করেছি। একদম এদের বিশ্বাস করবেন না।
- আসামে অনেক জেনুইন মানুষকে বিদায় দেওয়ার নাম করে, অত্যাচার করার প্রবণতা শুরু হয়েছে। ১ কোটি ৩৯ লক্ষ লোকের নাম নেই লিস্টে।
- যে কোনো মানুষ যে কোনো রাজ্যে থাকতে পারে। অনেক বাংলার মানুষ অন্য রাজ্যে থাকে। গুজরাট, বিহারের অনেক মানুষও কাজের জন্য এখানে থাকেন।
- সারা ভারতে আর কত দাঙ্গা লাগাবেন বিজেপির বন্ধুরা? কত মানুষকে খুন করবেন? কত অত্যাচার করবেন? মানুষ শান্তিতে বাঁচতে চায়।
- তফসিলি ও আদিবাসীর ছেলেমেয়ের উচ্চশুক্ষার জন্য ১০ লক্ষ টাকা করে সফট লোন দেয় আমাদের সরকার, বিদেশে পরতে গেলে ২০ লক্ষ টাকা করে লোন দেয়।
- কন্যাশ্রীর মেয়েরা আজ বিশ্বজয়ী। প্রত্যেকটা কন্যাশ্রী আজ তাদের পরিবারের গর্ব।
- বাংলায় গত ৬ বছরে আমরা ৮১ লক্ষ ছেলেমেয়েকে কাজ দিয়েছি। সেখানে সারা দেশে কয়েক লক্ষ মানুষ নোটবন্দী ও জিএসটির জন্য কাজ হারিয়েছেন।
- বিজেপির কুৎসা, চক্রান্ত, দাঙ্গা, বাঙালি খেদাওয়ের চক্রান্তকে ভেঙে দিন।
- বিজেপি আইসিডিএস, আশার টাকা বন্ধ করে দিয়েছে। আমাদের টাকা নেই, তাও আশা কর্মীদের মাসে ২০০০ টাকা করে দিই, আমরা টাকা না দিলে ওই প্রোজেক্ট বন্ধ হয়ে যাবে।
- সমবায় ব্যাঙ্কগুলিকে বলা হয়েছে, আনন্দধারা প্রকল্পে, সেলফ হেল্প গ্রুপকে, কিষাণ ক্রেডিট কার্ডকে লোন দেওয়ার জন্য।
- সেলফ হেল্প গ্রুপগুলিকে আমরা ৩০% ভর্তুকি দিচ্ছি লোনের ক্ষেত্রে, এবং বাকি যে লোনটা করেন ব্যাঙ্ক থেকে, তার ওপর সুদ ৪% ছিল, সেটা ২% করে দেওয়া হয়েছে।
- একসাথে রাজ্যজুড়ে ৭৫০০ কিলোমিটার রাস্তা তৈরীর কাজ ২রা ফেব্রুয়ারি নদীয়া থেকে উদ্বোধন করা হবে।
- রাজবংশী ও কামতাপুরি আকাদেমি তৈরী করে দিয়েছি, কুরুখ আকাদেমিও তৈরী করব।
