Bangla Govt to release calendar of district book fairs
The State Government has decided to release an annual calendar, by the end of October, of the book fairs organised in the districts. This was announced recently by the State Library Minister.
The calendar will have the dates and venues of the book fairs to be held in 2019 across all districts. According to him, this calendar would facilitate publishing houses as well as readers and libraries.
Regarding book fairs, he said that the government is planning to segregate book fairs into three zones – western, northern and mid-Bengal.
