Bangla FM meets investors in Düsseldorf
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is currently on a visit to Europe with the aim of attracting investments for the State. She addressed a conclave of investors at Frankfurt, Germany on September 18. She highlighted how Bangla has turned from a laggard state in terms of industrialisation to a leading state in ease of doing business. The response at the conclave was positive.
To follow up on this, State Finance, Commerce and Industries Minister visited Düsseldorf on September 19 to meet potential investors for the State. Relationship-building was a key focus of this visit.
That apart, the Chief Secretary of the State and the MD of West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation (WBIDC) met representatives of GIZ Bank.
