Bangla CM to lay the foundation stone of university named after Gandhiji
On the occasion of the 150th birthday of Mahatma Gandhi, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will today lay the foundation stone of a university named after him in Purba Medinipur district.
The university would help many students in the region pursue higher education.
The Trinamool Congress Government has always believed in the ideals of the Mahatma. As a consequence of that, Gandhi Bhawan in Beleghata in Kolkata, where Mahatma Gandhi spent a crucial period of his life, is being renovated by the State Government.
