SFDC to set up stalls in Kolkata to sell cooked fish products
The State Fisheries Development Corporation (SFDC), seeing the success of Benfish, will be setting up mobile stalls to sell cooked fish products in different parts of Kolkata.
The mobile stalls would be parked at 30 spots. Benfish has 10 such vans parked in Kolkata.
Currently SFDC has 17 vans which have freezers, which are used to transport raw fish to stalls in and around the city. It has been decided to use the same vans, after removing the freezers, for selling the cooked fish products.
The 17 vans would be launched in January itself. Later more vans would introduced by the corporation.
