Majerhat incident: Transport Dept to run extra buses
The State Transport Department has decided to run extra buses so that people are not inconvenienced due to the traffic restrictions imposed after the Majerhat incident.
The extra buses will run on these routes:
Taratara to Budge Budge: 5
Taratara to Tollugunge Metro: 2
Tollugunge Metro to Behala: 6
Behala chowrasta to Dastipur: 3
Behala to Diamond Harbour: 3
New Alipore station to Behala chowrasta: 3
According to the transport department, there will be extra buses in Dharmatala too
which will be used if needed.
