Bengal Govt stands by the family Afrajul Khan, the labourer killed in Rajasthan
Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, in a tweet today, said that the State Government will provide Rs 3 lakh to the family of Afrajul Khan, the labourer from Malda district, who was killed in Rajasthan.
The CM also tweeted that an eligible person from the family will receive a job. “Other help from the government will also be provided,” she added.
The CM also said that she is sending a team of Ministers and MPs to visit the family.

Very sad incident happened in Rajasthan. Afrajul Khan of Malda of our state was brutally killed. His family is totally helpless. As a small help to the bereaved family, our government has decided to provide Rs 3 lakh to the family and also one job to the eligible person of the victim’s family. Other help from the government will also be provided. I am sending our team of Ministers and MPs to visit the family.
রাজস্থানে নিহত বাঙালী 1শ্রমিকের পরিবারের পাশে রাজ্য সরকার
মালদা জেলার এক শ্রমিক আফরাজুল খানকে রাজস্থানে নৃশংসভাবে হত্যা করা হয়। হত্যার ভিডিওটি সোশ্যাল মিডিয়াতে পোস্ট করে হত্যাকারী। এর পরই ওঠে প্রতিবাদের ঝড়।
টুইট করে এই নির্মম হত্যাকাণ্ডের তীব্র নিন্দা করেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। আজ তিনি নিহত আফরাজুলের পরিবারের পাশে থাকার বার্তা দেন।
মুখ্যমন্ত্রী টুইট করে জানান, শোকসন্তপ্ত অসহায় পরিবারের সাহায্যার্থে আমাদের সরকার আফরাজুলের পরিবারকে ৩ লক্ষ টাকা দেওয়ার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে রাজ্য সরকার। পাশাপাশি তার পরিবারের একজন সদস্যকে চাকরিও দেওয়া হবে। সরকারের পক্ষ থেকে আমরা সবরকম সাহায্য করব।
আজ রাজ্যের মন্ত্রী ও সাংসদদের এক প্রতিনিধি দলও যাচ্ছে মৃতের পরিবারের সঙ্গে দেখা করতে।
