Trinamool takes out rallies in all districts against demonetisation
Thousands of Trinamool Congress workers on Thursday took part in rallies that were held in every district to protest against the hasty and arbitrary decision to demonetise high value notes that has caused untold misery to common people.
Trinamool workers will hold rallies in all the 341 blocks in the state on Friday. On November 28, a mammoth rally will be held from College Square to Esplanade where Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will participate.
Mamata Banerjee had sat on a dharna at Jantar Mantar on November 23 on this issue. Trinamool MPs have been protesting inside and outside Parliament to highlight the suffering of people due to demonetisation.
Meanwhile, the ordeal of the common people entered the 15th day on Thursday.

নোট বাতিল ইস্যুতে বৃহস্পতিবার ব্লকে ব্লকে প্রতিবাদ মিছিল করল তৃণমূল কংগ্রেস। নোট বাতিলের এই হঠকারী সিদ্ধান্তে সাধারণ মানুষ চরম দুর্দশার সম্মুখীন। এই সমস্যার দ্রুত সমাধানের জন্য এদিন হাজার হাজার সাধারণ মানুষ এই প্রতিবাদ মিছিলে অংশগ্রহণ করেন।
আজ রাজ্যের ৩৪১টি ব্লকে প্রতিবাদ মিছিল করবে তৃণমূল কর্মীরা। আগামী ২৮ নভেম্বর সোমবার কলকাতায় লক্ষাধিক মানুষ নিয়ে মিছিল করবেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। কলকাতার সব ওয়ার্ড থেকে ওইদিন লোক আসবে। কলেজ স্কোয়্যার থেকে বেলা ১টায় মিছিল শুরু হবে শেষ হবে ধর্মতলায়।
এই ইস্যুতে গত ২৩ নভেম্বর যন্তর মন্তরে ধর্না করেন মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। বিমুদ্রিকরনের ফলে সাধারণ মানুষের হয়রানি সকলের সামনে তুলে ধরার জন্য সংসদের ভিতরে ও বাইরেও সাংসদরা এই নিয়ে প্রতিবাদ জানান।
