First do a plan of action and only then do proper implementation: Mamata Banerjee on demonitisation
Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today urged the Centre to first prepare a plan of action for the proposed demonitisation and then do proper implementation. Taking to Twitter to express her views, she posted:
“Please save people from this disaster. Roads are closed, markets shut, patients are not being admitted to private hospitals, millions are affected. Chaos everywhere.
This is like an all-India unannounced strike. Those who hoard large amounts of black money will be protected. The poorest of the poor and middle class are crying
I once more appeal to the Govt to withdraw this hasty decision. First do a plan of action and only then do proper implementation. This is a complete disaster.”

৫০০ ও ১০০০ টাকা নোট বাতিলের সিদ্ধান্তের ঘটনায় আবার উদ্বেগ প্রকাশ করলেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী। টুইটারে তিনি তাঁর মতামত প্রকাশ করেন।
“এই বিপর্যয়ের থেকে সাধারণ মানুষকে বাঁচান। রাস্তা অবরুদ্ধ। বাজার বন্ধ। বেসরকারি হাসপাতালে রোগীদের ভর্তি নেওয়া হচ্ছে না। চারদিকে বিশৃঙ্খল পরিস্থিতি।
চারদিকে যেন অঘোষিত ধর্মঘট চলছে। যাদের কালো টাকা আছে তারা সকলে সুরক্ষিত থাকবে আর গরীব ও মধ্যবিত্ত লোকেরা হয়রানির শিকার হবে।
আমি আরও একবার কেন্দ্রীয় সরকারের কাছে এই সিদ্ধান্ত প্রত্যাহার করার দাবি জানাচ্ছি। পরিকল্পনা করে তারপর তা বাস্তবায়িত করা উচিত। এটা সম্পূর্ণরূপে একটি দুর্যোগ”।
