Didi asks women, kids to face armed CPM cadres
Addressing a meeting of Trinamool core committee in Kolkata, Trinamool Congress chief Ms. Mamata Banerjee unveiled her plan to gherao camps of armed CPM cadres with women and children and resolved to set up a women’s orgnization for this. “Are you bold enough to face the guns of CPM goons,†she asked the assembled women at the meeting. “Face then with whatever you can lay your hands on, with kitchen utensils.â€
On October 25 and 26, Trinamool Congress would carry out a signature campaign demanding the withdrawal of the joint forces. This is besides the rally on October 23 from Bidhan Nagar to Beliaghata which Mamata herself would lead.
