Trinamool Chairperson releases Puja edition of `Jago Bangla`
Trinamool Congress Chairperson Ms. Mamata Banerjee inaugurated the Puja edition of the `Jago Bangla`, the Trinamool Congress mouth piece at Nazrul Manch on Monday.
Earlier in the morning the Chairperson had greeted all on the occasion of Mahalaya on her facebook page, `Today is Mahalaya, the beginning of Debipaksha which denotes the end of darkness. The resonance of `jago durga jago dashaprohronodharini` has been beating in our hearts since early morning today. I convey my best wishes to all of you on the auspicious occasion of Mahalaya`.
Speaking on this occasion the Chairperson expressed her dismay over the manner in some of the media houses were indulging in anti-propaganda against the West Bengal State government and was trying to down play the development taking place in the State. `You can write or say whatever you want against me because I don`t care. But you must realize in the bargain you are actually harming the social fabric. You are doing this for vested business interests but in the process you are polluting the young and impressionable minds`, said the Chairperson.
Ten veteran journalists were felicitated on this occasion for their contribution in field of journalism.
