Wb Govt to send water pouches to flood-ravaged Kashmir

West Bengal government has extended a humanitarianhand of help to the stranded people in Kashmir. A devastating flood wreckedhavoc in the Himalayan State and rescue operations have been on for the lastfew days.
West Bengal government has decided to send 2 lakh water pouches for the stranded people in Kashmir.
WB CM wrote on her Facebook page:
Alarge section of my brothers and sisters in Kashmir are extremely distresseddue to massive floods.
Hugenumber of tourists from different places are also stranded in Kashmir. Manytourists from my State are stranded there as well. In this hour of crisis, weexpect everyone to co-operate.
Forimmediate relief, we are sending drinking water pouches to the flood affectedareas.
Weare by their side and hope that flood water would soon recede and people wouldget back to their normal lives.
