WB Tourism Department launches Puja Parikrama packages
West Bengal Tourism has once again launchedits exclusive Puja Parikrama package forthe year 2014.
Here are the details of the Puja packages:
Sanatani-I (Tour Duration – 08.30 AM to 01.00 PM on October1, 2 and 3) consists of Durga Pujas in Khelat Ghosh Bari, Chhatubabu &Latubabu's House, Chandra Bari, Rani Rashmoni's House, Thantania Dutta Bari andSovabazar Rajbari.
Sanatani– II (Tour Duration – 02.30 PM to 06.30 PM on October1, 2 and 3) consists of Durga Pujas in Khelat Ghosh Bari, Chhatubabu &Latubabu's House,Chandra Bari,Rani Rashmoni's House, Thantania Dutta Bari andSovabazar Rajbari.
Dakshini (Tour Duration – 9.00 AM to 03.30 PM on October 1, 2 and 3) consistsof Durga Pujas in Madox Sq.,Adi Ballyganj,Ekdalia, Evergreen, SinghiPark,Hindustan Park, Deshapriya Park, Mudiali, Shib Mandir, Badamtala AsharSangha, 66 Palli, Chetla Agrani, Suruchi Sangha and other Puja pandals will becovered.
Special package totour the Durga Pujas of Kolkata has been arranged on October1, which lasts for1 night and 2 Days. The night stay will be at Salt Lake tourist lodge.
Districttours: Another package includes tours of DurgaPujas in the districts. This will be held on October 1, 2 and 3, travelling toHooghly, Bardhaman and Murshidabad, starting from Kolkata.
Bijoya package is a 2 day 3 night tour from Kolkata to Bishnupur on October3.
Rivercruise: For those who want to enjoy the Pujas on a rivercruise, there are options from September 30 to October 3, both in the morningand in the afternoon. On October 4, the Tourism Department will organise a rivercruise to watch the immersion ceremony.
