State Govt launches app for land measurements
The State Land and Land Reforms Department has launched an app for Android mobile phones for knowing the details of one’s property.
The app, called ‘Jomir Tothya’ has six sections, and all the information is available in three languages – English, Bengali and Hindi. This app will help people to access live land data on a 24X7 basis.
The six sections are:
- Khatian Information: Full ownership details, based on mouza-wise khatian number of the applicant
- Plot Information: Khatian number(s) of co-sharers of a plot, and details about tenant and possessor of individual plots
- LR-RS (Hal and Sabek): Conversion of plots between hal and sabek dag
- Fee Details: Plot-wise details of processing fees (mutation/conversion and waris)
- Officer’s Details: Location-wise contact details of officers posted in district, subdivisions and blocks
- Case status: Status of mutation application will be available, and notice for hearing and investigation
