Derek O’Brien makes a Point of Order on ensuring that texts of Bills transmitted to Rajya Sabha remain the same

Sir, this is about Rule 69. This is a serious issue raised by the Congress speaker. We are discussing a Bill passed in the Lok Sabha. The text of that Bill is now in the Rajya Sabha. But we are discussing a Bill in the Rajya Sabha whose text is not the same as that of the Bill that was passed in the Lok Sabha. If there is a problem let us solve it.
Sir, humko jhagra nahi karna hai, rushed legislation aapko karna nahin chahiye. Humko jhagra nahi karna hain, suggestion dena hai. Let the Minister please bring an Amendment to that effect. I am suggesting that if that’s a difference, a numbering issue, let the Minister bring an Amendment. This is the problem when you do harbari legislation.
